Kick this around, Wes, and put it together so the nitwits will understand it:
We hear from ‘the protest movement’ (meaning the Tea Baggers, since the Left doesn’t seem to do protests anymore) that Obama is a Socialist, an enemy of the small businessman, etc. We are not hearing from the Left–and I mean, street action wise–much about the Wars, the corrupt Afghan government, justice issues in general, and the farce of the bail-out ‘plunder’ and the health care fiasco. Now, it seems to me, as far as unregulated American capitalism goes, that Obama is just another Corporate Reich shill, like Bush. BUT, we are not supposed to bust his chops about it because, after-all, the Republicans and the Tea Baggers are busting his chops, and Obama–poor fellow–has enough problems without the Left getting uppity. So, he’s getting a pass by the Peace and Justice folks cause they don’t want to ‘help’ the Republicans bring him down. So, the Tea Baggers and Nazis and Lunatics have effectively ’shut down’ all protest about what’s really wrong–the Corporate Rule of America, and America as the Weapon of Mass Destruction used to oppress other peoples and cultures (Pashtuns) in the world in order for unrestrained cross-border Capitalism to achieve its goal of eventually turning the whole planet into a stripped of resources shithole. Then they can have a Nuclear War and start all over again. So with the Bamster we have Bush/Cheney with a smiley face. President Nice–please don’t give him grieve, folks, he’s only trying to “get along…get along.” WE”VE BEEN HAD! The CEOs are saying: “Well, you wanted CHANGE. Here He Is. And that’s all you’re going to get. Go fuck yourselves (with our new state-of-the-art Fuck Yourself At Home Or Work ‘Fuckomatic’–$69.99). Listen to the SILENCE OF THE LEFT. The Bad Guys win again (but there’s still a war on). People should be pissed. Why ain’t they?
