“PEHDTSCKJMBA” (pronounced “pedskujumba”) is the word from Tom Waits, who just announced a rare U.S. summer tour. Unfortunetly, the closest he gets to the Northeast seems to be Tennessee, which means I certainly will miss out on any chance of seeing one of my all-time favorite song-writers and musicians on stage live. Seriously, two shows in Alabama, one in Mississippi and nothing in NYC or Boston? In typical fashion, Waits’ press conference is anything but typical:

That’s too bad. I’d love to see Waits. Have never seen him before and before I check out of this world, it would be nice to see him in concert. Oh, well.
